At some point you learned which version of yourself was acceptable.
Maybe it was early. Maybe someone told you directly that you were too much or not enough. Maybe you just watched and absorbed what got rewarded and what got ignored and you adjusted accordingly. You got smart. You got strategic. You learned the part and you played it well.
And somewhere along the way you started to lose track of where the performance ended and you began.
The exhausting truth about performing an acceptable identity is that it works. People like it. It's easier for everyone. Until it isn't. Until you find yourself successful by every external measure and still feeling like you haven't quite arrived as yourself. Until the business you built feels vaguely like someone else's. Until you can't remember the last time you did something just because it was true rather than because it was strategic.
Here's what's actually true. You don't have to try when you're just being you. The right people, the right clients, the right opportunities, they don't need you to perform. They need you to show up as yourself, warts and all, and trust that who you actually are is exactly what they're looking for.
Your G center, defined or undefined, is always communicating your identity and your direction. This workshop is about learning to let it do that without interference.
