Your Price Is Not the Problem

I have been on both ends of this.

I have raised my rates to compete with the high-end coaches, thinking that if I just showed people I believed in the value of my work, they would see it too and sign up. I have also gone the other direction, in the seasons when things were slow, thinking maybe I should make it more accessible, more reasonable, more reachable for the people who really want to do the work.

I lowered them so far that I became bitter.

I love this work. I have always loved this work. But I was not properly compensated for it, and that resentment quietly poisons everything. Or people would come in for one session, feel something shift, and then not come back, not because it wasn't good, but because the price signaled that I didn't value it enough to charge what it was actually worth. I had packaged it as an hour for a dollar exchange instead of a transformation with an outcome. And you cannot sell transformation at hourly rates without eventually breaking yourself.

Here is what I know now that I didn't know then.

Changing your price is not the answer.

You can adjust your rates a hundred times and it will not bring you more clients. What it will do is confuse the people considering working with you, and it will confuse you. Because beneath all of that movement is the real question, which is not what should I charge, but do I actually believe I am worth this?

And if the answer is not a full body yes, your body will call it out every time.

This is what incongruence looks like in business. Your mind and your mouth are saying I am worth this, I am charging this, this is my rate. And your nervous system is quietly running a completely different program underneath, one that says it is not safe to ask for that much, to have that much, to be seen as someone who is worth that much.

The universe, your clients, your energy, they all pick up on that signal. Not because of some vague law of attraction logic, but because you are sending mixed messages and nothing can flow cleanly through a mixed message. If it does not feel safe to receive, you will unconsciously shut down the very thing you are trying to create.

This is identity work. Not pricing strategy.

No business coach telling you to raise your rates and trust the process is going to fix this. No mantra or affirmation repeated long enough is going to override a nervous system that does not feel safe. Those tools are not wrong, they are just working at the surface of something that lives much deeper.

The places where we are most heavily conditioned show up in our identity. And in business, that conditioning shows up in how we price our services, how we set boundaries, how we lead, how we allow ourselves to be seen, and how we talk about what we do.

All of that is in your Human Design chart.

I can look at your chart and show you specifically where this pattern lives for you, what has been running underneath your pricing decisions, and what it is actually going to take to shift it. Not by cutting anything out or extracting anything. The pattern has served a purpose and that deserves to be honored. But there is something on the other side of it, a version of you who charges what her work is worth and feels completely at home doing it.

That is not a raise-your-rates-and-manifest-harder conversation. That is a come home to yourself first conversation.

If you want to understand the mechanics of how you specifically are wired to create, receive, and move energy in your business, the Manifesting Without the "Good Vibes Only" Bullshit bundle is where we start. A live session, your chart, and a personalized report that shows you exactly where the incongruence lives and what it is actually going to take to shift it.
